Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been Practised for many thousands of years. It has been formally recognised by the World Health Organisation as being an effective and legitimate form of health care. When our body is out of balanced, we may experience pain or illness. Acupuncture helps to restore our body’s balance so our body can function normally by choosing specific points on the body according to each individual. Acupuncture is safe when administered by a qualified, registered practitioner.

While acupuncture forms the primary treatment, we regularly use other techniques, such as therapeutic massage, cupping, guasha, electro-acupuncture and moxibustion. Since every patient is treated as an individual, each treatment may differ for each person. These other techniques can, when appropriate, greatly complement and strengthen the effect of the acupuncture.
